Love it here
i love this place great customer i amazing food
The breakfast is delicious! Great costumer service
Just went I thought I was not going to find a great cafe I was wrong Rosie's coffee cafe is the BOMB located in a great spot plenty parking. But most of all greater with a smile and treat like family. You order and your food come right out pipping hot might I add. If in doubt please don't hesitate to check out Rosie's cafe
Good size small cafe mocha! Taste yummy disregard my melted whip cream lol. Will be returning as I didn't get a chance to try the food but excited for this little gem.
Restaurant is very cute! I went on a Monday around 10:30 for breakfast. There weren't many people there at all but there were several to go orders, which seem to be a popular option.
The staff is very nice and friendly. You order at the register and pay for your food prior to sitting down. There isn't much seating, maybe 30 people plus the counter top.
The coffee was good. It came in a cool thermos type coffee mug (see pics) and it stayed warm much longer than usual. There isn't creamer at the tables. You have to go to the self serve station at the counter to get creamer and sugar. They have the little coffee mate tubs (vanilla, hazelnut and regular). They have raw sugars which is a huge plus!
The food was very fresh. My French toast was good but it was your standard Texas toast dipped in egg wash and grilled to perfection. My eggs were perfect over hard eggs and seasoned well and the salmon croquette was very tasty. I wish I'd ordered grits to go with it. Next time!
Overall, I really liked this place. It seems like your neighborhood spot where everyone knows everyone. That's hard to come by in this big city. I will definitely come back.
Tip: Sundays are super packed because of the large church across the street. Avoid Sundays unless very early in the morning. (The church has several service times so I'd avoid it all together on Sunday).
This is a cute little place I recently discovered. Been here a couple times and every time has been good. One time I ordered a chicken caesar salad and they didn't have it on the menu. So I got a grilled chicken salad with caesar dressing and it was really good. Mostly I stop in for a coffee or a tea. Mostly tea and they don't have green tea. They have a big box of tea you pick out of and while that is nice, they really need to get some green tea. Everyone drinks that. Also some other basics like Earl Grey and various other common teas. that box has chamomile and a couple I never heard of. The only other thing I would change is being a coffee place, creamer is the little coffee creamer cups you peel open. They need to do the carafe of half and half and whole milk like starbucks. I don't want to peel open 7 little creamer cups for a little bit of creamer. Other than that it's a great place. The lady everyone talks about has always been really nice to me and the time I got the salad I only waited about 10 -15 minutes. It's new. Sure there are some wrinkles, but I'm sure they will get it down. I've always met nice people here and for now it's a great place to stop for a break on my motorcycle ride. Oh one more thing. Closing at 6pm is WAY too early to close especially on a friday and saturday night. People want a place they can come relax, play on their computers, drink coffee or socialize with their friends. No one can really do that before 6pm.
An awesome addition to the neighborhood. I've stopped about a dozen times for coffee. Friendly staff, good brew, great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Rosie's Cafe is a Black owned restaurant with good food, prices, and a pleasant atmosphere. As they are only 3 months old they are getting adjusted to keeping up with the supply and demand. My only criticism/suggestion is that they could use a prep-chef and night crew to help prepare for each day's demands and to reduce the wait time and service.
I was so happy to find a locally owned trendy coffee/brunch spot with the best shrimp and grits around! Affordable priced and dripping with cool character. We got the fish basket and shrimp and grits!
Just had the best fish and grits I've ever eaten. My wife had shrimp and grits and she was very happy too! The chicken and waffles looked great. Wonderful service and delicious food. We will definitely be back...soon!
Love it here! Had a great breakfast at Rosie's today. I got the breakfast platter where you can choose from 12 options to make your plate. I got the french toast, eggs and turkey bacon. Everything tastes great. I also got a Vanilla Latte that was delicious! We got there during the church rush but we're able to get 3 seats at the bar with no wait. The staff were pleasant, patient and so engaging. They were even able to offer great service when we changed our order and wanted to add an additional drink they were accommodating. I loved the atmosphere and will definitely be coming back soon!
I've been to Rosie's twice now and enjoyed it both times. Service was prompt, friendly, and courteous while the food was delicious, inspired, and relatively inexpensive.
What really stands out about this place is that it's exceptionally cute. Every surface is clean and artfully angled our textured. It feels particularly nice and relaxing to eat here. Unfortunately, it's also very small, which is also kind of cute--but still small.
I haven't visited during a Sunday lunch or other very busy time so I can't report on that, but I have seen the place full and I was able to get my food and drink in good time and even a well timed refill or so. I did witness the servers deal with some guests who weren't happy the food they were brought (the food was fine and correct, they just decided they didn't want it). The staff handled them professionally, working quite hard to make then happy. I think it was a lost cause, and I'm pretty sure it's that kind of person that writes the negative reviews if this place.
We had a group of 6 and we ate in. The food was DELICIOUS, FRESH AND APPEALING TO OUR APPETITE. Overall, the experience was an 8 out of 10. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, but it took awhile for us to get the food after we placed our order. The staff did their best to keep us informed about when the orders were going to arrive. However, it felt as though they were a little overwhelmed with the crowd of customers. I would recommend the cafe, but I would as well mention that you should expect a bit of wait between ordering and receiving your food.
Great food. Loved the chicken and waffle
Today was my first visit to Rosie's cafe and it was a very pleasant experience I will definitely revisit Eric
